I have worked on precision automated equipment at Kensington Laboratories and as a Field Service Engineer for StorageTek and Sun Microsystems. I worked with some leading edge technologies such as the StorageTek SL8500, SL500, 9310LSM, L5500 Tape Libraries. Engenio (Now NetApp) D-Series and Flex Line Storage Arrays. I have extensive experience supporting SAN hardware (Array Controller, Fibre Switches, Tape and Virtual tape libraries) and software management tools, Windows, UNIX and Linux servers. I have managed complex storage networks, backup environments and handled customer issues for systems with more than 5000 users.
